About SCO’s Legacy of Hope

South County Outreach is pleased to reintroduce the Legacy of Hope program. The Legacy of Hope is designed to recognize and continue to honor those who have made provisions for a future gift through a bequest, life insurance, annuity, or trust agreement. It is the commitment, rather than the amount, that is the overriding factor in qualifying for membership in the Legacy of Hope.

Individuals and couples qualify to become members of the Legacy of Hope in one or more of the following ways:

  • Naming SCO to receive a gift in a will or trust

  • Naming SCO as a beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy

  • Naming SCO as a beneficiary of a retirement asset

  • Making a gift to SCO endowment fund of securities, property or other assets

  • Creating a charitable trust or life estate gift to benefit SCO

We you as one of our many friends and supporters to become a member of our Legacy of Hope.  While many have already made provisions for a future gift for SCO and are therefore eligible for membership, we hope that you will consider becoming a Legacy of Hope member.

Each member of the SCO Legacy of Hope will be invited as our guest to an annual recognition event and with consent, be included on a list with other Legacy of Hope members in our Annual Report.
